New Sandbox

So it has been a while, things are just crazy, but Shane has worked really hard to create a sandbox for Bailey and then has proceeded to play in it more than she has I think. He did however bury her in the sand and then run in the house to get me - so at least they are both having fun.

Birthday and Easter

So here are some pictures from Bailey's birthday party and some from Easter. Can you believe we actually have her in a dress!?! She had fun hunting for eggs for the first time - I had to miss it because I was at work, but we got it on the camcorder so I at least got to see it. As for her birthday it was crazy, but a blast - we had it at a local pizza place and there were about 50 people there. She was so good and had a lot of fun, even though she was exhausted, and she obviously loved the cake. Just can't believe she is already a year old - time sure flies when they are growing so fast.

New Haircut and Lots of Snow

So the first picture is just to give you an idea of how great the snow storm here last weekend was - that was the drift Saturday afternoon and the storm lasted until Sunday morning - we just love the wind. Also Bailey got her first haircut yesterday. As you can see in the first picture her bangs were getting very long and always ending up in her eyes, so I decided it was time - not to mention her lovely Aunts Carrie and Jenna kept telling her she had a mullet!! And then here she is now after her haircut in the second picture. It reminds me quite a bit of a certain bowl cut that I used to have - something must be done!! We are doing great otherwise, staying very busy. Bailey is getting more and more independant and onry every day. She has realized that when we say "bring that here", it really means "run away" which is soooo funny, at least to one of us. Shane is still liking his job with the department of ag, but is really wanting to get out of the office and do some field work. Work for me is crazy as always, but has finally slowed down and is a little more managable these days. As most of you know Bailey turned 1 about 2 weeks ago, I have some pictures that I need to still put on the computer and then I will post some of those too. Her party was crazy - there were about 50 some people and she just loved all the attention. Well hopefully I will get around to posting pictures more often again, enjoy!!!

So here is a video of Bailey and our basset hound Bumper playing together, they are the best of friends, and sooooo funny to watch. Not much else is new here, Shane and I are working as always and trying to get a lot of family time in when we are home. We are also trying to get ready for Bailey's first birthday which is coming up very soon - we just can't believe it!!!

Okay, so I know it has been a long time since I have posted anything, but life has been a little crazy. So I made a point last night of taking some pictures and stuff of Bailey while she was playing in the living room. She has gone from a baby who didn't make a lot of noise to jabbering all the time - and it isn't really quiet. We also went to the zoo this past weekend. Bailey had a ton of fun. She was really impressed with a seal that came up right to a window under water and stared at her for quite awhile, she screamed at a bunch of penguins, and she decided to growl at the grizzly bears. Needless to say that she had a very good time, and Shane and I spent most of our time laughing at her.

I LOVE THE ZOO!!

Christmas Pictures

Our little baby got her first Christmas pictures taken this weekend and we just wanted to share them with you. We think she looks awfully cute, but being true to form, she did not smile in her pictures. It took Mommy and Daddy holding her before she would smile at all.

And The Wind Wins Again!!!

So this past week here in Cheyenne the wind picked up just a little bit and took our garage-in-a-box that we were parking our truck in and turned it into the display you see in that first picture. I was heading to work, saw that, and ran back inside to tell Shane that his truck was in serious peril, I still can't believe that we didn't have a broken window or a serious dent in the truck at all, but it came out of there unscathed, but apparently it was not a lot of fun in the middle of the wind storm for Shane to try and tear it down. Bailey is doing great, as you can see in the other pictures she is growing quickly and is changing very quickly from our little baby into a little kid - it is just amazing how fast they grow up.
